The Virginia Tech Tragedy alludes to the fundamental lessons in learning and developing skills of resiliency and good communication necessary in building healthy relationships. Though it is questionable if this tragedy began as a domestic/relationship dispute, it is clear that the young man responsible for the murders displayed behaviors that were red-flags that should have been addressed.

The young person responsible for the deadly situation at Virginia Tech would have benefitted from having intervention and counseling support necessary to counter the festering anger and resentment he had developed over time. Though one can not make excuses for the terrible actions that resulted in lives being taken, hopefully lessons can be learned by everyone on how to treat others and how our actions impact.
