I am the feature writer for this section and therefore responsible for monitoring discussions. I'm not sure why you were shut down in Travel and Culture, why you posted in YD, who your "office" is, or what your group is about, but the posts here need to be related to this topic, so I will need a little more information other than just an announcement that you are here. this is about people to people student ambassador program. its for alumni and future ambassadors so we can talk about the program and have the alumni tell the new ambassadors about the program

People to People was formed in 1956 by President Eisenhower in order to create understanding throughout the world. People to People sends 50,000 students abroad each year to 35 different countries throughout the world. This forum is for alumni like myself and new students to interact about the program. People to People is about just that, interaction. The office is located in Kansas City, Missouri. The People to People office is the one that sets up the programs for these students and allows us to travel. I have been personally involved in People to People since the year 2000, and I can't thank Suite101 enough for allowing us the ability to communicate over the Internet.

Our last discussion was at http://www.suite101.com/discussion.cfm/t... We had 2,517 posts on our other discussion. I had sent an email to the editor of the post because some information was posted on there that we wanted removed. It was removed, but she may have shut us down completely.

I should mention that the office has no affiliation with this discussion board. This board is strictly for students who will be or have traveled with People to People. I just wanted to let the office know so they can put the link on their website to let students know we exist.
